The Nuclear Transition Fund has approved 3.25 million euros to urbanize the Les Forques industrial estate in Bot, a key move to attract business to the Terra Alta region.

The project is a collaboration between the Town Council of Bot, INCASOL, and the Generalitat de Catalunya. This funding will cover the urbanization costs, making the land viable for industrial use and helping to combat local depopulation by creating new jobs.
The local company Blai Peris SL will be the primary beneficiary, receiving a 3 million euro grant to build a new production plant. This facility will allow the firm to process over one million kilograms of olives annually, representing a total investment of 5 million euros.

"The financing of the Les Forques industrial estate opens a new stage of job opportunities and economic attraction for the municipality."

Construction is expected to begin by the end of 2026. This initiative is part of a broader 10 million euro plan that also includes significant industrial investments in Móra d'Ebre.
