The demand was formalized through various parliamentary initiatives promoted by the SUMAR deputy, Fèlix Alonso, who has submitted questions to the competent Ministry and a Non-Legislative Motion (PNL) demanding the immediate execution of the necessary works.
The local groups emphasize that the pavement condition has been deficient for some time, with irregularities and defects that compromise road safety for both residents of Corbera d’Ebre and daily commuters.
“"The N-420 is a strategic route for mobility and connecting the Terra Alta region with the rest of the territory. The poor state of the road endangers road safety and highlights, once again, the deficit of infrastructure investment suffered by the region."
The objective of this institutional pressure, maintained by Entesa per Corbera d’Ebre and Movem Terres de l’Ebre, is to ensure that the Government acts with the utmost urgency to guarantee adequate and safe conditions for all road users.
