Vicent Pellicer, Idoia Recuenco, and Abel Borràs win the 31st Terra Alta Photography Contest

The Terra Alta County Council has announced the winners of its 31st annual photography competition, awarding top prizes to Vicent Pellicer, Idoia Recuenco, and Abel Borràs.

On March 5th, the jury evaluated 207 photographs submitted for this year's edition. Vicent Pellicer won the Terra Alta Tourism category with his work Mirades. Idoia Recuenco secured the Artistic category with Passat i present, and Abel Borràs took the Open category title with Camí cap a l'infinit.
Other recognized photographers include Carla de la Rica, Joan Coronado, and Judit Amposta. The entries focused heavily on the natural landscapes and historical memory of the Terra Alta region, showcasing the area's rich heritage through the lens of local artists.
The awards ceremony and the opening of the annual exhibition are scheduled for late March. The collection will be available for public viewing throughout the year, both in person and on the County Council website.
