The Ribera d'Ebre Youth Office has launched the XXII edition of the Llibresebrencs.org Award, a short story competition for residents of Terra Alta and surrounding Catalan regions.

Part of the 2026 Ebrense Book Fair, this initiative aims to encourage writing in the Catalan language. The contest is open to various age groups, ranging from children under 15 to adults over 30, with a maximum length of two pages per entry.
Winners in each category will receive a 150 euro prize. Additionally, a popular vote on the Wattpad platform will award the most-voted authors with a kayaking experience on the Ebro river. Submissions are open until April 23, 2026.
