An agricultural fire has burned 38.6 hectares between the localities of Santa Maria de Montmagastrell and Claravalls, near Tàrrega, this Friday.

The fire started at 10:42 AM and required a large deployment from the Generalitat Firefighters, involving around thirty ground and air units and a total of 61 personnel. Rural Agents, Mossos d'Esquadra, and Local Police also participated.
Initial investigations by Rural Agents suggest that a malfunction in an agricultural baler may have caused the fire.
