The Tirant lo Blanc library in Belianes has established itself as the cultural heart of this Urgell municipality, achieving participation figures that exceed the local population census.

This facility was founded in 1978 in the old attic of the Belianes Town Hall. Its creation was made possible by the direct involvement of residents, who provided materials and voluntary labor. In 1991, the center was named after the classic novel Tirant lo Blanc.

"Although we are a small municipality, it is a source of pride to maintain it, adapting it to accessibility regulations without losing its unique essence."

Carme Culleré · Mayor of Belianes
Last year, the library organized 105 activities with 1,092 attendees. With a collection of over 10,500 documents, the center offers everything from book loans to video game clubs and workshops on artificial intelligence.
