Students from the Ermengol IV institute in Bellcaire d'Urgell will have free access to eight municipal swimming pools this summer, thanks to the second edition of the 'Interpiscines' project.

The 'Interpiscines INS Ermengol IV' initiative will allow students from the educational center to enjoy the aquatic facilities of eight municipalities spread across the Noguera, Urgell, and Pla d’Urgell regions. This program, now in its second year after last year's success with 250 cards issued, aims to promote healthy habits and a sense of belonging to the territory among young people.
The unique aspect of the Ermengol IV institute is that its student body primarily comes from these eight participating municipalities. The towns involved are Bellcaire d’Urgell, la Sentiu de Sió, la Fuliola, Linyola, Montgai, Penelles, Bellmunt d’Urgell, and Castellserà. The latter three also implement a similar card system for the 94 Primary students in their Rural School Zone (ZER).

"The only requirement to get the card is to be enrolled in the center. The interested student must present their ID and the summer pool pass for the municipality where they live. It can be obtained at the Oficina Jove until the 30th."
