The Ca la Cileta Residential Center, located in El Palau d’Anglesola, has completed a significant renovation and expansion, increasing its residential capacity to 48 places.

The project, driven by the Municipal Company of Services of El Palau d’Anglesola and awarded in June 2025 for 401,801 euros, has allowed the center to increase from 43 to 48 authorized assisted living places. The work was carried out without disrupting the center's normal operations.
The ground floor now features two new single rooms. The first floor has been expanded with one single and one double room, all adapted to current accessibility and comfort standards. Additionally, common areas have been enhanced: the dining room has nearly doubled in size, and a section of the garden has been renovated and paved, connecting directly to the new extension.
Prior to this renovation, Ca la Cileta offered 43 assisted living places (32 publicly funded and 11 private) and 20 day care places (5 publicly funded and 15 private). Private places may be eligible for a linked benefit depending on the user's dependency level.
The center, which opened its doors on January 12, 2004, with 18 residential and 20 day care places, has undergone several expansions over the years. By 2007, it had reached 41 places, and in 2008, two more were added, bringing the total to 43, which remained until this latest project. The center is managed by a ten-person board of directors, including municipal representatives and five residents with relevant knowledge or experience.
