The village of Ciutadilla, located in the Urgell region, is set to host the second edition of its dry stone and heritage workshops on March 28th and 29th.

Participants will learn the ancient construction technique by restoring a traditional field wall under the guidance of master craftsman Josep Maria Martí. The event aims to preserve the local landscape while teaching a skill that is both sustainable and historically significant.

"We will practice the technique of what seems impossible, but it is actually easy and rewarding."

Jordi Sanfeliu · Event organizer
Mayor Òscar Martínez emphasized that these sessions help value the rural environment through active heritage recovery. Currently, 14 people have signed up for the workshop, which remains open for registration via email for those interested in traditional masonry.
