The initiative aims to preserve the historical value of spaces that have been key to understanding the social evolution of the Alt Urgell capital. The research, led by Amadeu Gallart, Lluís Salses, and Javier Galindo, analyzed commercial activity since 1860.

The work identified nearly 400 biographies of merchants through industrial registrations between 1860 and 1980. The study reflects how trade was formerly the center of family life in the city.
