The Urgell region maintained a high pace of activity between January and July 2025, with the Tàrrega City Council leading key initiatives in infrastructure and local management.

Municipal activity in the capital, Tàrrega, has been constant, with important announcements such as the presentation of the 24 million euro budget for 2026 and the opening of the call for urban gardens. Furthermore, works for the expansion and improvement of the southern roundabout of the C-14 have progressed, a key point for mobility.
At the regional level, emphasis has been placed on territorial development. Urgell has boosted tourism with its first master plan, and environmental and heritage projects have been initiated, such as door-to-door waste collection in Bellpuig starting in February and the consolidation of the Guimerà castle wall.

The diversity of projects, ranging from road infrastructure to heritage recovery, demonstrates the vitality of the region.

The cultural aspect has also played a prominent role. The city of Tàrrega hosted the 37th Tàrrega City Theater Group Contest and celebrated the Winter Sales Market. The solo debut of Agramunt native Roser Loscos also took place, three years after her time with Las Migas.
