The La Seu d'Urgell City Council has concluded the improvement works at Camp del Codina Square this February, focusing on safety and creating new recreational spaces for families.

The project involved converting an unused water feature into a modern children's playground. By leveling the ground and removing the old pond, the city has expanded the play area while preventing ball games from damaging surrounding residential buildings.
A new landscaped flowerbed has also been installed in the northeast section of the square. This green barrier was designed to prevent accidental falls near the stairs, significantly improving pedestrian safety in the area.
Executed by the municipal Technical Office, the renovation had a total budget of 40,721 euros. The works included repaving and the installation of new play systems to ensure a functional and modern public space for the community.
