The Local Government Board of the La Seu d’Urgell City Council has greenlit the works project to improve the children's play area located in Plaça Firal, at the junction of Munturull and Serradora streets.
The intervention, with a budget of €32,571.28, involves replacing the current woodchip surface with a cork safety surface on reinforced concrete. This upgrade aims to significantly improve the safety of children using the area. Additionally, new play elements, including seesaws and spring riders, will be installed, complementing existing features like a slide.
The council has emphasized its commitment to continuing investments in improving children's leisure spaces, aiming to provide safer and higher-quality environments for the city's youngest residents.
