The La Seu d'Urgell City Council has launched a comprehensive improvement project on Carrer Major to preserve urban heritage and stimulate economic and cultural activity in the city center.

The works focus on the structural rehabilitation of the iconic porches between Plaça dels Oms and Fra Andreu Capella street, ensuring the conservation of one of the most emblematic elements of the local identity.

"We are working to beautify the heart of our city. This project is not just an aesthetic improvement, but a clear commitment to supporting our merchants."

Joan Barrera · Mayor of La Seu d'Urgell
The project includes new ornamental lighting and a modern sound system to enhance the atmosphere and safety of the area, facilitating the organization of outdoor markets and cultural festivals.
