The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 33-year-old man yesterday in Tàrrega as the alleged perpetrator of five robberies involving force inside vehicles parked on Mossèn Sarret Street.

The investigation began last Tuesday after the police became aware of the incidents, which took place on the public road in the capital of Urgell. The individual fractured the windows of five parked vehicles to steal valuables from inside.
The identification of the alleged thief was swift. The arrest occurred yesterday, around 1:00 PM, when the man was located on Comtes de Barcelona Street in Tàrrega.
The detainee, who already has numerous prior offenses for crimes against property, is scheduled to appear today before the investigating court on duty in Cervera.
