The Mas de Colom - Casa Borges estate in Tàrrega has announced a special program from March 13 to 22 to celebrate the almond blossom season with cultural events.

As spring arrives in the Urgell region, Mas de Colom highlights this natural spectacle by connecting it with local traditions. The festivities begin on March 13 with a performance by the Arquets de Tàrrega, a traditional dance group that welcomes the season among the flowering trees.
The schedule includes family-oriented activities, such as a storytelling tour with the Nans de Tàrrega (local giants) on Saturday, March 21. Characters like Guantxo and Rosalia will bring the landscape to life, followed by a gastronomic tasting featuring almonds as the star product.
Environmental awareness is also part of the program with the activity The Flight of the Bees. On March 14, 15, and 22, visitors can learn about the vital role of pollination and participate in building bee hotels within the estate's unique natural environment.
The program is rounded off with immersive art experiences and photography tours designed to capture the scenic beauty of the Urgell countryside. Organizers emphasize that prior booking is mandatory due to limited capacity for all scheduled events.
