Of these new initiatives, four were established in the Urgell region: three in Tàrrega (Spasa dinamitzacions, El Galliner, and La Rossitte) and one in Guimerà (Watt del Corb). The cooperatives cover sectors such as performing arts, rural revitalization, design, and energy communities.
Ponent Coopera's support for a total of 84 projects resulted in the creation of 9 new cooperatives and 6 associations, generating 55 new jobs in Ponent. Notably, 71% of these job placements were filled by women, contributing to the goal of stable employment promoted by the Departament d’Empresa i Treball of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The activity of the Ponent Coopera Cooperative Ateneu has managed to generate 55 new jobs in Ponent, 71% of which are job placements for women.
In addition to support, the ateneu carried out 25 awareness actions and 51 training sessions, reaching a total of 2,202 participants (adults and minors). Social economy was also promoted among local administration and consultancies, with four of them obtaining the 'Aquí assessorem l’Economia Social' seal.
The year 2025 was also marked by the consolidation of key events such as the seventh edition of the Ponent Fest in Lleida, and the fifth edition of the FEM COOP program, which offers aid of up to 15,000 € for youth cooperative projects. The winning project was Neo Rural sccl, dedicated to technical services for the primary sector.
