The area designated by the Government includes sectors of the historic center such as Plaça dels Oms, Parc del Cadí, Plaça del Deganat, and Pati del Palau, as well as adjacent properties and sections of Carrer Major, Carrer Capdevila, and Carrer dels Canonges.
With this delimitation, the cathedral complex completes its regulations as an Asset of National Cultural Interest. This action makes it compatible with the requirements of UNESCO for monuments seeking inclusion on the World Heritage list.
