Tàrrega and Aran selected for new educational governance pilot

The Department of Education and Vocational Training has chosen Tàrrega and Aran to join a pilot project aimed at decentralizing and improving school management across Catalonia.

The program was officially launched this Thursday in El Prat de Llobregat. This new model focuses on providing tailored solutions based on population density, social complexity, and the specific linguistic needs of regions like Aran.
Besides Urgell-Tàrrega and Aran, the pilot includes L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, El Prat de Llobregat, and Vic. The initiative seeks to ensure that educational administration is more responsive to the unique characteristics of each local community.
