The Tàrrega City Council is set to approve its new municipal structure this Thursday, March 26, following a government pact between Junts and CUP.

The new administration is organized into 11 management areas and five deputy mayoralties. Mayor Rosa Maria Perelló will personally oversee Finance, while Laia Recasens takes charge of Municipal Services and Water.
A notable addition is the new Language Department, led by Miquel Nadal, aimed at strengthening the use of the Catalan language. The governing team maintains a female majority, with six women and five men holding council seats.

"This pact is the result of understanding and dialogue for the governance of Tàrrega, beyond ideologies."
