The city of Tàrrega experienced one of its most massive Carnival editions this Saturday, with a parade featuring 1,500 participants and a record-breaking 74 groups.

Organized by the Agrat Tàrrega association, the event showcased a diverse crowd. Participants ranged from school children to a Civic Center group with members aged between 73 and 93, proving the festival's intergenerational appeal.
Local satire was the main theme of the costumes, addressing city issues and global news. The parade concluded at Plaça Major with a speech by the Carnival Queen, followed by a communal dinner at the Municipal Sports Pavilion.
