The Corpus Christi festival took place in Tàrrega last Sunday, June 7th, under favorable weather conditions. The celebration, which traces its origins back to the early 15th century, was marked by solemnity and devotion.
The procession featured the city's popular folklore figures. Notable participants included the City Giants, Eloi and Alba, carried by the Fal·lera Gegantera; the two-headed figure of the Àliga de Tàrrega accompanied by the grallers Els Carreter; the new dragon Pedrafoc; and the Esbart Albada.
Additionally, the assembly of Caritas Diocesana held in Tàrrega was mentioned. The passing of Ramon Puig Cunillera, a significant figure in the trajectory of BAT, was also noted.
