Tàrrega Chamber of Commerce hosts debate on the strengths of plural Spain

The forum, promoted by the Chamber of Spain, seeks to highlight the key role of Urgell companies in the economic and social progress of the State.

The Tàrrega Chamber of Commerce hosted the debate forum 'The strengths of plural Spain', an initiative by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain to emphasize the contribution of local businesses to the State as a whole.

The forum, developed through the network of 83 territorial chambers, is the first milestone of a project aimed at discussing the assets and values that the geographical area of Urgell contributes to the configuration of Spain's identity. This initiative seeks to reinforce the country's economic and social progress.

In addition to President Jordi Seguí, local civil society leaders participated, such as Chus Grau, secretary of the Tàrrega Chamber of Commerce; Núria Briansó from Torrons Vicens; Xavier Folguera from Aigües del Canal Segarra-Garrigues; and the Mayor of Bellpuig, Jordi Estiarte.
Participants delved into key areas such as history, culture, natural heritage, lifestyle, sports, institutions, the economic and business system, education, and infrastructure. The conclusions will be integrated into a synthesis document for the construction of a national narrative.
