The Tàrrega Town Council has invited residents to participate in the fourth edition of its participatory budget, allocating 100,000 euros for projects chosen directly by the community.

An information session is scheduled for March 4th at the Germanes Güell library to explain the methodology. Residents can submit their proposals from March 9th to 29th, focusing on municipal competencies and technically feasible investments.

"Initiatives like this allow us to listen to various voices and opinions, involving the population in democratic decision-making."

The process will culminate in a final vote between October and November. Previous winning projects in Tàrrega have included accessibility improvements and public lighting upgrades, with participation reaching over 1,800 voters in the last edition.
