The town of Tàrrega is preparing for a major demonstration this Saturday, February 21, to demand a reform of the Juvenile Law six months after the murder of Juan.

The victim's mother, Silvia Guerrero, has gathered nearly 62,000 signatures on Change.org. She argues that serious crimes committed by minors should face harsher penalties, regardless of the perpetrator's age at the time of the offense.

"A murder is a murder; one should be judged by the crime, not by the age of the person who commits it."

The march will start at Sant Pelegrí street and end at Plaça Major with a floral tribute. Guerrero plans to deliver the signatures to the Spanish Congress in Madrid later this year to push for legislative changes.
