The seminarians of the Diocese of Urgell are organizing a vocational prayer vigil this Saturday, March 21st, at the Sant Crist Sanctuary in Balaguer to share their experiences and encourage new vocations.

The meeting, starting at 9:30 PM, is inspired by the figure of Saint Joseph and aims to be a space for silence and reflection. The event is part of the Seminary Day and the Lent-Easter retreat, featuring young men who have decided to dedicate their lives to the priesthood.

"I have learned that a vocation is guarded with constant prayer, faithful work, and availability to God."

Among the testimonies are those of Juan David Franco, a 25-year-old from Colombia, and Gilbert Bea, who is already serving as a deacon in the diocese. Other participants include Edinson-Josep Salas, Carlos Steve Rosas, and Mateo Arias, who is currently serving in Vielha.
The day will include a prior retreat led by Fr. José Antonio Goñi, Liturgy delegate from the Archdiocese of Pamplona and Tudela. The ultimate goal is to present the priesthood as a service close to families and the Christian community.
