Fifteen students from the Digital Design and Creative Arts Degree at the University of Lleida are presenting a digital art exhibition in Tàrrega that reinterprets the archival heritage of the former Trepat Museum.

Hall 18 of the Trepat Museum in Tàrrega has become the setting for an innovative digital art exhibition, the result of work by students from the Polytechnic School and Teacher Training at the University of Lleida (UdL). This exhibition, titled Open Archive / Closed Archive, has already seen five editions in the capital of Urgell since its inception in 2022.
The projects on display stem from an artistic reinterpretation of the rich archival heritage of the old agricultural machinery factory. The students have explored and reinterpreted various types of documents, including parts inventories, oral sources, sound recordings, photographs, historical documentation, and reference publications.
The exhibition features the participation of fifteen students, who approach digital art from an experimental and contemporary perspective. The Open Archive / Closed Archive exhibition will be open to the public until May 19.
