The Tàrrega City Council has announced that Josep Tarradellas Avenue will be closed to traffic from February 3 to 5 due to asphalt paving work scheduled for the C-14 roundabout.

The traffic interruption on the main avenue, which connects to the C-14 road, is necessary to carry out the planned improvements to the road infrastructure. This measure will directly impact circulation in this key area of the capital of Urgell.
In addition to the total closure of Josep Tarradellas Avenue, the works will also involve implementing an alternative traffic flow on Tarragona Avenue to manage vehicle movement. Adjacent streets near the construction zone will also experience restrictions and changes in mobility.
Regarding public transport, the council has reported the cancellation of two crucial urban bus stops: stop 20 (corresponding to the CAP health center) and stop 21 (located at the Alfons Costafreda Institute).
As a provisional solution for users, the City Council has enabled stop 19, located at the Civic Center, as an alternative point for boarding and alighting the bus during the three days the work lasts.
