Tàrrega secured a 1-1 draw against Joventut 25 de Setembre de Rubí this weekend at the Municipal Joan Capdevila, despite displaying clear superiority in terms of game quality and opportunities.

An unfair distribution of points occurred at the Municipal Joan Capdevila between Tàrrega and Joventut 25 de Setembre de Rubí (1-1). The hosts, managed by Edgar Molina, were superior in quality of play and goal opportunities, notably through two clear attempts by Oliver that the visiting goalkeeper managed to save.
Tàrrega took the lead in the 25th minute with a goal scored by Dani Vargas. Nevertheless, Joventut capitalized on a set-piece action to equalize through Alieu in the 42nd minute, reaching halftime at 1-1.

"I am happy with the draw, because these types of matches sometimes get complicated and you can lose, and that was not the case; we add a point and move a little further away from relegation."

In the second half, Tàrrega maintained control but failed to convert their dominance into a winning goal. The situation worsened when Molina was sent off with a direct red card in the 80th minute, forcing the team to finish the match with ten men and settle for the draw.
