The municipality in Vallès Occidental has gained prominence in the world of cinema and television, offering its spaces as a backdrop for various productions. This trend shows that it is not necessary to travel to large cities to find cinematic locations, as they can be discovered just minutes from home.

Among the works that have chosen Cerdanyola del Vallès, the film Saben aquell stands out, a biopic about the comedian Eugenio Jofra. Scenes of the artist's family home were filmed at the Can Cordelle farmhouse, one of the emblematic places in the town.

The municipality's relationship with the screen does not stop there. The Spanish series Los sin nombre, directed by Pau Freixas and based on a novel by Ramsey Campbell, also used the streets of Cerdanyola as a key setting for its thriller.
