The event, organized by La Frikassa and Cinema Catalunya, aims to establish itself as an annual gathering for Japanese animation enthusiasts. This year, the choice of 'One Piece' marks the twentieth anniversary of its first broadcast in Catalan, coinciding with TV3's acquisition and dubbing of new episodes, which is being done at a studio in Sabadell, emphasizing the Vallès region's connection to the work.

The day, taking place at the plaça del Vapor Ventalló starting at 10:30 AM, will include craft workshops, games, stalls, a concert by Miree (voice of a character from 'One Piece Film Red'), and karaoke. These activities are free. There will also be a roundtable discussion on the series' values, considered a symbol of the fight for freedoms, and a tournament for the official 'One Piece' card game.

In the afternoon, Cinema Catalunya will host a film marathon featuring three iconic films dubbed into Catalan: My Neighbor Totoro (1988), One Piece: Stampede, and The End of Evangelion. During breaks, voice actors such as Montserrat Puga, Mark Ullod, Miquel Bonet, and Antoni Forteza will share secrets and trivia about the series.

The cinema's atmosphere will be enhanced with decorative elements and the presence of cosplayers. A full pass for the three films costs 12 euros and is already on sale, with individual tickets priced at 5 euros. Pass holders will receive a parking discount, enter a raffle for merchandise, and enjoy surprise reveals.

The organizers expect to surpass last year's figures, when over a hundred passes were sold. The event aims to highlight the importance of Catalan dubbing and promote the experience of watching films on a big screen as a space for community and celebration.
