The Generalitat Firefighters of Catalonia responded to a fire alarm in Terrassa early this morning. The alert was received around 08:15 AM, and five units were immediately dispatched to the scene.
The flames, as reported by emergency services via the social network X, originated and spread in the kitchen of a dwelling located on Hispanidad Street. After controlling and extinguishing the fire, firefighters proceeded to ventilate both the affected apartment and the stairwell, which had also accumulated a significant amount of smoke.
“"Fire extinguished that affected the kitchen of an apartment on Hispanidad Street in Terrassa (alert 08:15h). We are ventilating the dwelling and also the stairwell, affected by smoke. Two people attended by SEM. 5 Firefighters activated."
As a result of the incident, two individuals required medical assistance. The Emergency Medical Service (SEM) provided their care, although the current condition of the affected individuals has not been detailed.
