The Castellar del Vallès City Council has increased pressure on utility companies to fully restore services in local neighborhoods following the windstorm recorded between February 11 and 16.

Local authorities are working to return to normalcy after the VENTCAT emergency plan triggered nearly a hundred incidents. The priority is ensuring that electricity and telecommunications are fully operational in all areas, including rural outskirts where damaged lines remain.

"It is unacceptable that, days after the wind episode, there have been residents who have spent many hours and even days without electricity."
