The local organization Els Amics de Sant Antoni de Castellbisbal has announced that the traditional Tres Tombs festival will be replaced this year by a new event focused on local heritage.

After 33 years of horse-drawn carriage parades, the town of Castellbisbal will host Arrels que bateguen (Beating Roots) this Sunday, March 1st. The event at Folch i Torres Park aims to celebrate the town's social fabric and folk traditions through dance, music, and community gatherings.
The schedule begins at 9:00 AM with a traditional breakfast, followed by carriage rides and the blessing of pets at 11:00 AM. Local groups, including the Esbart Dansaire de Castellbisbal and the Casa de Andalucía, will perform throughout the morning, concluding with a public vermouth at noon.
