The Castellbisbal Town Council hosted a new session of the Senior Walking Cycle last Wednesday, March 11, bringing together over 200 participants from across the region.

Organized by the Barcelona Provincial Council, the event included residents from Castellbisbal, la Roca del Vallès, Sitges, and Vilobí del Penedès. The 9-kilometer route followed the ancient Via Augusta and passed by the historic Devil's Bridge.

"It is a joy for us to receive so many visitors today and to share our natural environment and heritage with you."

Maria Dolors Conde Domínguez · Mayor of Castellbisbal
The day concluded with a communal lunch and dancing at the Casal Cultural. Local officials emphasized that the program promotes active lifestyles and social connections for those over 60. The next walk is scheduled for March 24 in Sitges.
