CE Sabadell drew 2-2 at the Nova Creu Alta against Juventud Torremolinos on Sunday, retaining the league lead despite frustration over controversial refereeing decisions and the visitors' aggressive tactics.

The match started well for Ferran Costa's side with an early goal by Escudero, who returned to the starting lineup, capitalizing on a poor clearance by Fran Martínez following a shot from Bonaldo. The goal was dedicated to José Ortega, who is currently out indefinitely, sending the Nova Creu Alta crowd into a frenzy.
Juventud Torremolinos delivered a strong first half and managed to equalize in the 43rd minute thanks to a good cross-shot by Pito Camacho. This action sparked controversy, as the FVS system ratified the goal despite a possible handball by a visiting player, without the main referee reviewing the play.

Intending to be the clear actor of the match, his performance triggered the 2-2. A criminal tackle on Urri, which could have been an expulsion, resulted in a useless advantage rule.

In the second half, Fornés put Sabadell ahead again (2-1) after a bizarre set-piece play, culminating in deafening cheers from the over 5,000 'Arlequinats'. However, a controversial refereeing decision, which allowed a foul on Urri to go unpunished, was key for Pito Camacho to equalize again (2-2) shortly after.
Tension reached its peak, with the visiting coach, Antonio Calderón, being booked for celebrating the equalizer by addressing the stands unpleasantly. In stoppage time, goalkeeper Martínez prevented the 3-2 following a header from Godoy, while Sabadell grew increasingly desperate due to constant interruptions and the referee's permissiveness towards Torremolinos' time-wasting tactics.
