CE Sabadell goalkeeper Diego Fuoli has apologized for initiating an offensive chant against Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez during the club's promotion celebration to the Second Division at Sabadell City Hall.

Goalkeeper Diego Fuoli acknowledged that what he initially considered a "harmless joke" has escalated into a significant incident. In a statement released on social media, the goalkeeper offered his apologies to anyone who may have been offended.
During the CE Sabadell's promotion celebration to the second tier, Fuoli took the microphone on the balcony of Sabadell City Hall and invited the crowd to complete a phrase directed at the Prime Minister. A portion of the attendees finished the chant with an insult.
The incident occurred the day after the club secured its return to the Second Division by winning the promotion playoff against Zamora. The team was welcomed by Sabadell's mayor, Marta Farrés, and several council members before addressing the fans.

"I address everyone who may have been offended by what happened yesterday at the promotion celebration to offer my apologies. Fueled by the euphoria of the moment and the experiences of the past few days, I got carried away."
