The town of Cerdanyola del Vallès experienced a weekend full of cultural events, featuring the 32nd Pallassada clown festival and the official end of Carnival 2026.

The Ateneu de Cerdanyola hosted performances by Sabanni and Gromic. The festival opened with the show Amb P de Pallasso, a classic clown performance linked to Circ Cric, marking the artist's return to the city after ten years.
On February 18th, Ash Wednesday, the Xavier Gordo Square became the stage for the Burial of the Sardine. This traditional ceremony, featuring fire and funeral music, signaled the end of the festivities and the beginning of Lent and Ramadan.
Institutionally, Cerdanyola City Council inaugurated a memorial dedicated to the mayors who have served since 1979. Additionally, the city's rural history was discussed by historian Miquel Sánchez and winemaker Íñigo Haughey during a seminar on the heritage of the Vallès Occidental region.
