Two serious infrastructure failures have led to another chaotic afternoon for Rodalies commuter rail on Saturday, disrupting train services on multiple lines.

The R4 line experienced a service interruption shortly after 5:00 PM between Sabadell Sud and Terrassa Estació del Nord stations. This incident forced a halt in circulation between Sabadell Sud and Manresa, necessitating the establishment of an alternative bus service for affected passengers.
Concurrently, on the southern corridor, another infrastructure issue required single-track operation between Castelldefels and Garraf. This situation has caused significant disruptions to the R2 Sud line, as well as the regional lines R13, R14, R15, R16, and R17.
As a result of the breakdown in the south, the R2 Sud is now operating with a reduced frequency of two trains per hour per direction between Sant Vicenç de Calders and Estació de França, making stops at all stations. Southern regional trains are also experiencing average delays of thirty minutes.
