The publishing house Veles i Vents Edicions has released the Catalan translation of My Worldview, a collection of Albert Einstein's humanist reflections on politics and science in Catalonia.

The book features a foreword by Xavier Roqué, a professor and science historian from Sant Cugat del Vallès. Roqué highlights that the texts, written between the 1930s and 1950s, remain relevant today, especially regarding the political pressure on the scientific community.

"There are some disturbing parallels between what Einstein describes in the thirties, the fifties, and the world we have today."

The publication also recalls Einstein's historic visit to Catalonia in February 1923. During his stay, he visited Sant Cugat del Vallès and Barcelona, an event that significantly impacted the local scientific community and remains a landmark in the region's cultural history.
