The city of Sabadell transformed into a galactic and space-themed stage during the traditional 'correbars' of the Alternative Festival. Under the slogan "La birra de les galàxies" (The Beer of the Galaxies), thousands of participants, dressed as astronauts, aliens, UFOs, and characters linked to the universe, filled the streets in one of the most crowded afternoons of the celebration.
The gathering kicked off around 7:45 PM at Can Capablanca, bringing together young people ready to tour the city to the rhythm of music. "It's the best day of the year!", agreed various groups of young attendees. Imagination was the star, with space-inspired costumes ranging from astronauts and extraterrestrials to UFOs made of aluminum foil and planets with altered names.
The variety of costumes was a major highlight. "The fun is in finding a funny twist. Whatever it is," commented one participant. While the theme was generally well-received, some noted that creating a good costume required time or money. New themes for next year, such as a casino, were suggested.
The 'correbars' concluded at the Barraques (stalls/stages) in Can Feu-Gràcia, with a very positive assessment and no significant incidents. The event marked the end of a festive day that showcased the creativity and community spirit of the participants.
