Public safety and medical emergencies were the primary reasons for contacting the service, accounting for 7,171 and 6,381 calls respectively. Other notable categories included traffic incidents and antisocial behavior reports, such as noise complaints and public space misuse.
While the total number of calls neared 20,000, the actual number of operational incidents requiring emergency response was 14,751. This difference is common in emergency management, as multiple witnesses often report the same incident, particularly in cases of fires or traffic accidents.
