The Esplai Xivarri Group is celebrating its annual festival in Sabadell this Saturday with a full day of cultural and leisure activities for all ages.

The Esplai Xivarri Group has organized a new edition of its annual festival, taking place this Saturday in Sabadell. The event, starting at 4:30 PM and running until the early morning, aims to "raise awareness about the importance of leisure" in the city. According to one of the monitors, Aina Santamans, the youth club is a fundamental space for children, and activities will be held to advocate for its role in contemporary society.
As part of the entity's 51st anniversary, seven diverse activities have been scheduled. The celebration will be held at the local entities' venue on Carrer d'Emprius (Covadonga). The afternoon will kick off with workshops focused on Catalan popular culture, including games, relays, and a demonstration on building human towers with the collaboration of the Ganàpies de la UAB. "We always try to involve Sabadell-based entities related to popular culture," Santamans notes.
At 5:30 PM, entertainer Aniol Riba (Bubet) will present a children's animation, repeating last year's success. At 7:00 PM, there will be a flan and puppet contest open to everyone. Following this, at 8:00 PM, the Diables de la Creu Alta (a traditional fire-dancing group) will perform before the communal dinner, starting at 8:30 PM. The dinner includes meat or vegetable paella for 11 euros for adults and 7 euros for children not enrolled in the club (free for enrolled members).
The evening will continue at 10:30 PM with an entertainment show by the monitors, followed by a DJ set from 11:00 PM until 3:00 AM. The organization anticipates an attendance of over a hundred people, including children, families, friends, and other leisure organizations.
