Due to the intense heat episode expected in Terrassa, with temperatures potentially exceeding 38 degrees Celsius between 2 PM and 8 PM, measures have been taken to ensure attendee safety. Municipal sources have warned of a "very intense heat episode" and activated the Municipal Emergency Plan to an alert phase.
Consequently, two outdoor sports activities have been definitively cancelled: the artistic gymnastics exhibition by Wolf in the Montserrat raval and the municipal cycling circuit exhibition in the Can Jofresa neighborhood.
The traditional fireworks display, scheduled to conclude the festival, had already been postponed on Monday out of caution due to adverse weather conditions and the widespread wildfires. The show will be moved to November 14th.
To avoid the hours of highest sun exposure, several musical events have been rescheduled. The concert by Sophie Coff, originally at 7 PM in Rector Homs square, will now start at 8 PM. At the same time, the 'Música gran' and 'Treure Ball' activities have also been delayed. Marc Parrot's performance has been moved from 9 PM to 10 PM.
Finally, the traditional farewell cantada d'havaneres with mulled rum, held in Lluís Companys square, has been brought forward to 10:30 PM.
