The strike called by the Semaf train drivers' union has caused a 12% drop in passenger volume across the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) network this February.

The labor action has been clearly visible at Sabadell stations, where the number of commuters has significantly decreased compared to a regular day. According to data provided by the company, the actual participation in the strike among drivers stood at 16.43%.
This reduction in passengers coincides with service disruptions resulting from union demands. Although minimum services were maintained, many users chose alternative transport methods to travel through the Vallès Occidental region.
