From March 6th to 27th, the 45th Jazz Terrassa Festival has turned the city into a hub for musical reflection, challenging artists and the public to define the essence of jazz.

The slogan What is jazz? was created by the Evil Love agency to highlight the genre's resistance to strict labeling. According to Aleix Satorras, jazz is about emotion and the unknown, a sentiment shared by legends like John Coltrane.
Mayor Jordi Ballart emphasized that Terrassa and jazz have been linked since 1920, calling it the city's official soundtrack. The festival featured performances by bassist Carles Benavent and pianist Francesca Tandoi, alongside local figures such as Guim Balasch.

"Jazz is a living language that breathes and transforms in every performance."
