The incident took place in the Les Termes neighborhood around 5:00 PM. According to police reports, the suspect picked up the boy and tried to run away. However, alert neighbors witnessed the act and immediately took action.

The citizens managed to stop the man after he had carried the child for approximately 50 meters. The suspect, who was described as highly agitated and aggressive, was held by the public until police officers arrived at the scene to take him into custody.

Authorities stated that the individual has no prior criminal record and may have been under the influence of narcotics or suffering from mental health issues at the time of the attempted abduction.
