The Terrassa City Council announced this Friday, February 27, the beginning of the procedures to award the Medal of the City to Mercè Paloma and Maria Vidal.

The official recognition will be presented during the upcoming municipal plenary session in March. Both women are celebrated for their professional excellence and their deep roots in the city, serving as female role models in the fields of arts and justice.
Mercè Paloma is an internationally acclaimed costume designer with six Gaudí Awards, including a recent win for the film La Frontera. Maria Vidal is a pioneer in the legal profession, having served as the head of the Terrassa Bar Association and currently contributing to social causes through LaFACT.
