Under the theme "30 + 1: Giving a voice to nursing science," the annual event aims to make visible advances in care and foster research in the nursing field. This year's call has exceeded expectations, gathering 46 works, nearly 10 more than in the previous edition.
Of the submitted studies, 15 will compete in the oral communication category, while 31 will do so in the poster category. The organization will award a first and second prize for oral presentations, in addition to an award for the best poster. The works will be evaluated based on their relevance to health sciences, innovation, methodological rigor, clarity, and multidisciplinary nature.
The day will begin at 08:30 AM with a welcome from the nursing care management of Hospital Universitari MútuaTerrassa (HUMT), the care management director of the social and healthcare service area, and the care head of admissions and clinics at Àptima Centre Clínic. Subsequently, an audiovisual document on the professionals' work will be screened, and at 08:45 AM, the oral communications presentations will begin, divided into four tables moderated by a nursing professional.
The highlight of the gathering will be at 12:30 PM with a tribute to the award's 31-year history. The event will specially recognize four retired professionals who were precursors of these awards. Afterwards, the winners of the previous 30 editions will be invited to the stage. The activity will conclude at 03:30 PM with the awards ceremony, led by the entity's general director, the managing director of Fundació Assistencial Mútua Terrassa, and the managing director of Fundació Vallparadís. Posters will be available for digital consultation at the Edifici Docent facilities throughout the day.
