A pedestrian sustained minor injuries on Sunday, March 15th, when part of a building facade collapsed onto the street in the center of Sabadell.

The incident took place at 6:32 PM at number 4 Rosa Street, located above the former Homedes haberdashery. Six fire crews were dispatched to the scene to secure the area and inspect the structural integrity of the property.
The victim suffered a leg injury from falling debris but was not trapped. Medical assistance was provided on-site by the Emergency Medical Service (SEM). Local Police and Mossos d'Esquadra officers cordoned off the area near Passeig de la Plaça Major to ensure public safety.
Municipal architects from Sabadell City Council and utility technicians are currently evaluating the extent of the structural damage to determine if the building remains safe for occupancy.
